American political satirist, Stephen Colbert, reportedly delivered a very controversial speech at the annual RSA security conference, in which he slammed NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and Mt. Gox, once the world's largest bitcoin exchange.
The comedian said that NSA could be trusted, because without a doubt it was history's most powerful, pervasive, sophisticated surveillance agency ever to be totally pwned by a 29-year-old with a thumb drive, referring to Snowden.
According to The Verge, Colbert further said that Snowden should face espionage charges for taking security secrets to Russia.
Poking fun at Snowden's Nobel Peace Prize nomination, the actor further said that Snowden was practically a war criminal, adding that he didn't understand how they could put him up for the same prize they once gave to Henry Kissinger, the American diplomat and political scientist who received the honour in 1973.
