ANI New Delhi, [India]

The wife of BSF constable Tej Bahadur Yadav, whose video complaining of poor quality of food being served to the jawans went viral, on Thursday filed a habeas corpus petition in the Delhi High Court as they have no information of his whereabouts.

The case is likely to be mentioned tomorrow.

Yadav's wife in her plea has mentioned that the former's family is trying to contact him but has not received any response from the BSF jawan.

According to reports, earlier this week on Monday, Yadav's wife Sharmila and her brother Ranbir Singh met paramilitary Director General K.K. Sharma at the Force's headquarters in the national capital.

Albeit officials said that Sharma assured the family of a fair inquiry. However, the BSF jawan's kin said the response of Sharma was not very positive.

Tej Bahadur posted other videos showing a poorly baked 'chapati' and dal which he said had "nothing except salt and turmeric".

In his posts, Yadav is seen accusing the high-ranking officers of selling the items being provided by the government to fill their pockets.
