The general body meeting of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) will be held in Chennai this morning.
It is said that the party treasurer and opposition leader in the Tamil Nadu Assembly M.K. Stalin may be elevated to the position of 'Acting President,' as his nonagenarian father and president of the party M. Karunanidhi is suffering from geriatric health issues.
The meeting is to be chaired by the party general secretary K. Anbalagan.
