Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson had used a voodoo priest in a bid to stop himself getting locked up, a claim that he made in his new tell-all autobiography 'Undisputed Truth'.

The boxing legend lifts the lid in his autobiography and admits that he was a drug, booze and sex addict, adding that he had 'f***ed all his money away on his addictions as all he wanted back then was to be glamorous and glorious.

According to the Daily Star, Tyson revealed in his book that he had also visited a 'hoodoo woman', a voodoo priest and a Santeria priest, looking for spells to shorten his six-year prison sentence, of which he served three.

Tyson was sentenced after he was convicted of raping 18-year-old beauty pageant star Desiree Washington in 1992, although he still denies rape, the report added.
