The United States has denied reports of its drone targeting an Islamic school in Pakistan on Thursday killing six people and injuring five others.
American and Pakistani officials have sharply disagreed on the incident and this has inflamed tensions over the CIA drone campaign, the Washington Times reports.
According to the Pakistani officials, three missiles were fired into a Degree College compound in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which is said to be a rare strike outside the Pakistani tribal areas near the Afghan border.
