U.S. drone strike kills four in North Waziristan

At least four persons have been killed by a U.S. drone strike in Pakistan's North Waziristan region.

The attack was aimed at a house located in the Ghulam Khan area of North Waziristan, the Express Tribune reports.

Pakistan has repeatedly told the U.S. to stop the drone strikes on grounds that it is a violation of its sovereignty.

There has been a decrease in drone attacks carried out by the U.S. after Secretary of State John Kerry suggested during a visit to Islamabad last month that the threat of militancy had receded.
