US filmmaker Adam Shankman 'seeks treatment' in rehab

American filmmaker Adam Shankman is currently seeking treatment in a rehab center for undisclosed issues, it has been revealed.

The 'Hairspray' director's rep asserted that Shankman's friends and family support him and wish him well on his journey to recovery, Us magazine reported.

The 49-year-old star was recently spotted attending the Trevor Live L.A event and had even posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the 'Glee' stars Darren Criss, Jane Lynch and singer Adam Lambert.
