Eleven people were killed and many are still feared trapped after compound wall of a godown collapsed in Uparapalayam in Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu in the wee hours today.
The incident is believed to have occured around 2 in early morning, but the rescue efforts only got started around 7.
Those eleven people who have been found dead in the incident, atleast four are women including one child, while the remaining six who died are said to be men.
One person who has been rescued from the wall collapse has been admitted at Stanley Hospital.
