Shares of Adani Green Energy were trading at Rs 29.40 at 11:48 IST on BSE following its demerger from Adani Enterprises.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 6.98 points, or 0.02% to 35,615.16
Shares of Adani Green Energy listed on the BSE at Rs 28. The stock had hit a high of Rs 29.40 and low of Rs 27 during the day. 1.68 lakh shares were traded on the counter on the BSE.
In 2017, Adani Enterprises had announced demerger of its renewable energy business into associate company Adani Green Energy as part of its efforts to simplify the overall business structure.
Adani Green Energy had issued 761 shares of Rs 10 each for every 1,000 shares of Adani Enterprises shares held as on 6 April 2018.
