All Ordinaries ends higher

Australian share market closed modestly higher in volatile trade on Wednesday, 27 August 2014, on the back of positive cues offshore market overnight, led by shares of mining and financial companies. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 Index closed 13.60 points higher at 5651.20 and the broader All Ordinaries Index rose 14.40 points to 5648.90.
