Amara Raja Batteries standalone net profit rises 10.70% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 17.57% to Rs 1580.74 crore

Net profit of Amara Raja Batteries rose 10.70% to Rs 109.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 99.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 17.57% to Rs 1580.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1344.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 1.50% to Rs 471.32 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 478.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 13.95% to Rs 6059.15 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 5317.15 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
