The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index advanced 37.40 points, or 0.7%, to 5372.70 and the broader All Ordinaries index grew 35.30 points, or 0.66%, to 5348.90. Market turnover was healthy, with 1.55 billion shares changed hands worth of A$4.66 billion. 674 stocks were up, while 616 were down.
