Australian equity market finished choppy session marginally softer on Monday, 06 November 2017, due to weakness in banking stocks after Westpac reported its full-year earnings results were more than offset gains by energy, healthcare and utilities stocks. The S&P/ASX 200 index fell 0.1%, or 6.08 points, to 5,953.80 points. The ASX All Ordinaries index edged down 0.05%, or 3.12 points, to 6027.20 points.
