Australia stocks ended mixed

Australian share market finished the session in positive territory on Friday, 18 December 2015, as gains in retailers, consumer goods, and financial stocks were more than offset by profit booking among materials and energy stocks. At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index rose 4.70 points, or 0.09%, to finish at 510.70 points.
