Bajaj Electricals standalone net profit rises 9.02% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 6.45% to Rs 1259.44 crore

Net profit of Bajaj Electricals rose 9.02% to Rs 38.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 35.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 6.45% to Rs 1259.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1346.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 2.43% to Rs 107.66 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 110.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 7.10% to Rs 4245.73 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4570.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
