Board of BASF India approves divestment of textile chemicals business

BASF India announced that the Company has received information from its parent Company, BASF SE, Germany about its decision to divest the global textile chemicals business (part of the Performance Products Segment) to Archroma, subject to receipt of requisite approval(s) as may be deemed necessary. The closing of the transaction is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2015. The Board of Directors of the Company has approved the proposed divestment.
