Bombay Dyeing zooms 49.01% in six sessions

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company surged 5.27% to Rs 109.90 at 12:34 IST on BSE, with the stock extending recent strong gains.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 29.61 points, or 0.09% at 31,676.07. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 80.86 points, or 0.51% at 15,948.60.

High volumes were witnessed on the counter. On the BSE, 25.10 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 15.34 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 111.40 and a low of Rs 103.45 so far during the day.

 

Shares of Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company rose 49.01% in six trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 109.90, from a close of Rs 73.75 on 22 August 2017.

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company's net loss of Rs 32.71 crore in Q1 June 2017, compared with net loss of Rs 43.58 crore in Q1 June 2016. Total income rose 32% to Rs 638.33 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company is engaged in textile, polyester and real estate business segments.
