Godfrey Phillips India standalone net profit rises 17.56% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 15.44% to Rs 760.96 crore

Net profit of Godfrey Phillips India rose 17.56% to Rs 55.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 47.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.44% to Rs 760.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 659.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 20.57% to Rs 136.35 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 171.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 1.76% to Rs 2228.17 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2268.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
