Hathway Cable & Datacom surged 9.76% at Rs 46.10. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 41.33 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 17.01 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Jindal Steel & Power spurted 9.46% at Rs 288.60. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 28.61 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 17.96 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Den Networks jumped 6.88% at Rs 129. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 2.50 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.88 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Biocon climbed 6.68% at Rs 643.40. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 5.82 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.36 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Sterlite Technologies rose 6.22% at Rs 390.45. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 3.80 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.15 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
