HDIL leads gainers in 'A' group

Ashok Leyland, Thermax, Hindustan Copper and Suzlon Energy are among the other gainers.

Real estate developer Housing Development & Infrastructure (HDIL) jumped 5.16% to Rs 48.90 on bargain hunting after the stock tumbled 7.28% in the preceding six trading sessions to Rs 46.50 on 20 March 2014, from a recent high of Rs 50.15 on 11 March 2014. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.

Commercial vehicles maker Ashok Leyland galloped 4.52% to Rs 18.50. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Energy and environment solutions provider Thermax spurted 4.31% to Rs 775.50. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

 

State-run copper miner Hindustan Copper climbed 4.31% to Rs 70.15. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Wind turbines maker Suzlon Energy rose 4.21% to Rs 10.15. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
