Hero MotoCorp rose 1.08% to Rs 3,780.85 at 11:39 IST on BSE after the company said it unveiled three new motorcycles.
The announcement was made during market hours today, 21 December 2017.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 3.46 points, or 0.01% to 33,773.92.
On the BSE, 12,000 shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 37,000 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 3,816.25 and a low of Rs 3,765.45 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 4,200 on 23 August 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 2,957 on 27 December 2016.
Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, today, 21 December 2017, unveiled three new motorcycles - the 125cc Super Splendor, the 110cc Passion PRO and the 110cc Passion XPRO. There will be a phase-wise launch of the three motorcycles in the market, starting January 2018.
Hero MotoCorp's net profit rose 0.6% to Rs 1010.49 crore on 7.3% growth in net sales to Rs 8361.99 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016.
Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest manufacturer of two-wheelers.
