The Hong Kong stock market finished firmer for 12th straight session on Wednesday, 10 January 2018, as buying appetite for riskier stocks continued on following another closing record of the Wall Street overnight. At the close of trade, the Hang Seng index was up 62.31 points or 0.2% at 31,073.72. The Hang Seng China Enterprises index rose 0.27% to 12,289.17. Turnover increased to HK$140.6 billion from HK$133.4 billion on Tuesday.
