The Japan share market finished session firmer on Monday, 15 January 2018, as stocks marched on from a strong finish by Wall Street on Friday, with shares of real estate, bank-oriented issues being notable gainers, while automakers and technology proved to be a mixed picture. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 61.06 points, or 0.26%, to 23,714.88. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, added 7.66 points, or 0.41%, to 1,883.90.
