JMT Auto was locked at 10% upper circuit at Rs 45.90 at 15:30 IST on BSE, with the stock extending prior two sessions' 43.44% jump.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 179.23 points or 0.64% at 27,632.61.
On BSE, so far 1.94 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 6,917 shares in the past one quarter.
Shares of auto ancilliary company were locked at a high of Rs 45.90, also a record high. The stock hit a low of Rs 40.
The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 50.38 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.
