On the BSE, 59,000 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2.22 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 1,358.75 and a low of Rs 1,339.55 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,469.60 on 1 February 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,176 on 14 December 2017.
Larsen & Toubro's construction arm L&T Construction has won orders worth Rs 1329 crore across three business segments - Water & Effluent Treatment Business, Transportation Infrastructure Business and Smart World Communication Business.
L&T's consolidated net profit rose 28.37% to Rs 2593.41 crore on 21.6% rise in total income to Rs 32800.85 crore in Q2 September 2018 over Q2 September 2017. The result was announced after market hours on 31 October 2018.
L&T is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over $18 billion in revenue.
