Among the other constituents of the index, Infosys Ltd decreased 3.91% and Newgen Software Technologies Ltd lost 3.07% on the day. The S&P BSE IT Sector index went down 11.76 % over last one year compared to the 14.94% fall in benchmark SENSEX.
