The Japan share market finished session higher on Thursday, 16 November 2017, snapping six-day losing streak, as bargain-buyers moved in to help the market recover from a six-day losing streak. Information and communication, air transportation and retail-linked issues comprised those that gained the most by the close of play. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index jumped 1.47 per cent, or 322.80 points, to 22,351.12 while the broader Topix index climbed 1.01 per cent, or 17.70 points, to 1,761.71.
