The Japan share market advanced to fresh 11 weeks high on Friday, 22 April 2016, amid mounting speculation that Japan's central bank will take additional monetary easing steps at its policy meeting next week. Most of industry categories on the main section advanced, with banks, brokers, shippers, realty, and steel sectors being major gainers. The 225-issue Nikkei average gained 208.87 points, or 1.2%, to close at 17572.49. The Topix index of all first-section issues ended up 13.82 points, or 0.99%, at 1407.50. The measure ended the week 3.4% higher.
