NMDC announced the details of production and sales of iron ore (provisional) in the month of October 2019 as under -
Total production stood at 2.49 million tonnes in October 2019 compared to 3.23 million tonnes in October 2018. For the period April- October 2019, the total production was 15.95 million tonnes as compared to 15.47 million tonnes in the corresponding period of previous year.
Total sales stood at 2.61 million tonnes in October 2019 compared to 3.06 million tonnes in October 2018. For the period April- October 2019, the total sales was 17.14 million tonnes as compared to 16.54 million tonnes in the corresponding period of previous year
