Petronet LNG net profit declines 30.94% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 23.31% to Rs 10408.52 crore

Net profit of Petronet LNG declined 30.94% to Rs 169.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 245.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 23.31% to Rs 10408.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 8440.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 38.06% to Rs 711.92 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1149.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 19.96% to Rs 37544.51 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 31296.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
