Phillips Carbon Black standalone net profit rises 162.83% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 36.92% to Rs 753.01 crore

Net profit of Phillips Carbon Black rose 162.83% to Rs 74.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 28.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 36.92% to Rs 753.01 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 549.98 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 230.48% to Rs 229.78 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 69.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 32.18% to Rs 2546.98 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1926.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
