Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 5.29,NIFTY Crashes 1.58%

Nifty Realty index closed down 5.29% at 235.55 today. The index has lost 14.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd dropped 9.80%, DLF Ltd slipped 7.24% and Phoenix Mills Ltd fell 6.15%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 14.00% over last one year compared to the 10.07% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Auto index has slid 3.90% and Nifty Financial Services index has slid 3.44% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 1.58% to close at 10967.4 while the SENSEX has slid 1.46% to close at 36305.02 today.
