Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 2.09%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.09% at 317.15 today. The index is up 10.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sobha Ltd added 6.84%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd jumped 4.95% and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd rose 3.99%. The Nifty Realty index is up 34.00% over last one year compared to the 14.22% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index added 1.67% and Nifty PSE index increased 1.39% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 witnessed a rise of 0.59% to close at 12329.55 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.62% to close at 41859.69 today.
