Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 2.73%, NIFTY jumps 1.58%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.73% at 305.15 today. The index is up 10.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sunteck Realty Ltd gained 6.64%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd jumped 4.67% and DLF Ltd added 4.66%. The Nifty Realty index is up 27.00% over last one year compared to the 12.54% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Auto index added 2.68% and Nifty PSU Bank index added 2.41% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 1.58% to close at 12215.9 while the SENSEX added 1.55% to close at 41452.35 today.
