Resources help Australia market to modest gain

The Australian share market closed modest higher on Wednesday, 21 October 2015, as gain in resources stocks helped to offset losses banks and elsewhere. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index rose 12.70 points, or 0.24%, to 5248.30 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index added 14.90 points, or 0.28%, to 5286.50 points.
