Subros slips after Q3 PAT declines 22%

Subros declined 2.96% to Rs 268.9 after the auto parts maker reported weak Q3 2019 numbers during market hours today.

On a consolidated basis, Subros' net profit declined 22% to Rs 13.35 crore in Q3 December 2019 as against Rs 17.09 crore posted on Q3 December 2018. Revenue from Operations declined 8.83% to Rs 465.61 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.

Profit before tax (PBT) for Q3 December 2019 (Q3 FY20) stood at Rs 19.5 crore, down by 29.46% as against Rs 27.63 crore in Q3 December 2018 (Q3 FY19). Total tax expenses tumbled 42% to Rs 6.14 crore in Q3 FY20 from Rs 10.54 crore reported in Q3 FY19.

 

EBITDA for Q3 December 2019 declined 9% year on year to Rs 50.57 crore.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 306 on 09 Apr 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 163.6 on 06 Aug 2019

Subros makes automotive air conditioning systems and thermal products for automotive applications.
