T.V. Today Network hit an upper circuit limit of 20% at Rs 65.50 at 13:32 IST on BSE after the company reported net profit of Rs 11.98 crore in Q1 June 2013 as against net loss of Rs 0.35 crore in Q1 June 2012.
The result was announced after market hours on Friday, 2 August 2013.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 28.33 points, or 0.15%, to 19,192.35.
On BSE, 40,000 shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 41,808 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 65.50 and a low of Rs 62 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 93.80 on 4 January 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 53.40 on 30 July 2013.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 2 August 2013, sliding 24.74% compared with the Sensex's 1.54% fall. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 22.06% as against Sensex's 2.90% fall.

Net sales rose 25.90% to Rs 88.85 crore in Q1 June 2013 over Q1 June 2012.
