Tata Power Company consolidated net profit rises 230.45% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales decline 8.42% to Rs 6620.80 crore

Net profit of Tata Power Company rose 230.45% to Rs 402.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 121.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales declined 8.42% to Rs 6620.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 7229.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit declined 56.82% to Rs 1017.38 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 2356.19 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales declined 2.49% to Rs 29136.37 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 29881.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
