Torrent Power standalone net profit rises 59.95% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 15.57% to Rs 2798.10 crore

Net profit of Torrent Power rose 59.95% to Rs 215.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 134.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 15.57% to Rs 2798.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 2421.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 113.19% to Rs 921.74 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 432.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 14.94% to Rs 11448.86 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 9961.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
