Transport Corporation of India consolidated net profit rises 79.22% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 33.68% to Rs 892.69 crore

Net profit of Transport Corporation of India rose 79.22% to Rs 64.61 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 36.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 33.68% to Rs 892.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 667.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit rose 3.35% to Rs 147.13 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 142.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales rose 3.11% to Rs 2802.39 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 2717.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
