Volumes jump at Greenlam Industries counter

Infinite Computer Solutions (India), Coffee Day Enterprises, Vaibhav Global and The Hi-Tech Gears are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 9 January 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 94.67 points, or 0.28% to 34,447.46.

Greenlam Industries clocked volume of 5.34 lakh shares by 14:56 IST on BSE, a 2031.82-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 263 shares. The stock rose 1.16% to Rs 1,313.

Infinite Computer Solutions (India) notched up volume of 2.20 lakh shares, a 54.71-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock rose 19.99% to Rs 334.70.

 

Coffee Day Enterprises saw volume of 3.36 lakh shares, a 51.87-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock rose 20% to Rs 324.65.

Vaibhav Global clocked volume of 1.30 lakh shares, a 39.81-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 4.27% to Rs 735.

The Hi-Tech Gears saw volume of 1.09 lakh shares, a 30.55-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock rose 5.05% to Rs 561.
