VST Industries clocked volume of 30,000 shares by 13:55 IST on BSE, a 41.11-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock fell 0.48% at Rs 1,853.05.
Emami notched up volume of 9.9 lakh shares, a 34.55-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock rose 0.44% to 923.30.
Coal India saw volume of 68.07 lakh shares, a 12.64-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5.39 lakh shares. The stock dropped 1.26% at Rs 356.30. As per reports, the government plans to sell another 5% stake in the company over the next few months, after raising about Rs 23000 crore by divesting a 10% stake last week.
Srikalahasthi Pipes clocked volume of 9.58 lakh shares, a 7.84-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.22 lakh shares. The stock jumped 18.93% at Rs 106.50.
Suven Life Sciences saw volume of 10.17 lakh shares, a 7.22-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.41 lakh shares. The stock spurted 15.91% at Rs 257.50.
