12 killed in fire at karaoke bar in Indonesia

At least 12 people were killed on Sunday in a fire at a karaoke bar in Manado city of North Sulawesi in central Indonesia, officials said.

The accident left 71 others injured, Kristian Lautonga, head of the emergency unit of the local disaster management agency told Xinhua.

The victims were found on the second and third floor of a building located on Boulevard street.

"The fire occurred before down. Some 12 people were killed and 71 others were injured. The wounded have been rushed to hospitals," Lautonga said.
