13 die in Philippines accident

At least 13 people were killed when a vehicle carrying them fell into a ravine in the northern Philippine province of Benguet, media reported Wednesday.

At least three survivors are still recuperating at a hospital, Xinhua reported citing local television channel GMA.

Most of the victims were students of a high school.

The vehicle was carrying 16 passengers when the accident happened late Tuesday afternoon.
