13 killed in Iraq suicide attack
At least 13 people were killed and 24 others injured in a suicide attack targeting a police checkpoint near Baghdad, an Iraqi official said on Thursday.
The attack took place on Wednesday night when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden tanker near the checkpoint, the official told Xinhua news agency.
The massive blast set fire to at least 15 vehicles.
