15 killed in train-bus collision in South Africa

At least 15 people were killed and six injured when a train hit a mini-bus in eastern South Africa, a media report said

The mini-bus which was overloaded hit the guard rail of a highway, landed on the railway line and was hit by an incoming train, Xinhua quoted the spokesperson of the KwaZulu-Natal road traffic inspectorate as saying on Monday.

Road accidents are not rare in South Africa as official figures show road accidents claim 14,000 lives every year.
