24 Afghan militants killed in suicide blast

At least 24 Taliban militants, including 11 suicide bombers, were killed on Monday when a suicide vest accidentally went off in Zabul province of Afghanistan, police said.

"A group of Taliban militants were playing with a suicide jacket in their hideout in Khak-e-Afghan district when it exploded," Xinhua news agency quoted police as saying.
