5.1-magnitude quake hits Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 122km NW of Kota Ternate, Indonesia at 20:39:16 GMT on Thusday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 1.4707 degrees north latitude and 126.502 degrees east longitude, Xinhua reported.
