The decision was taken at a meeting of the working committee of the sporting body in Kanpur Monday.
Under the new scheme, all the 61 ex-Ranji trophy players from the state would be given a one-time pension ranging from Rs.50,000-Rs.1 lakh.
The criterion for different bands would be decided on the number of matches and domestic outings in the tournament by a player, an office bearer said.
