Assam road accident kills 28

At least 28 people were killed Thursday when a truck hit two passenger vehicles on a highway in Assam's Barpeta district, police said.

The accident took place near Dahla area on National Highway 38. Most victims were brick kiln labourers and their family members including women and children.
